Synara — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Synara.store and the Synara study application (together, the "Service"), operated by Lazarus LLC ("Synara," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Synara provides digital study and exam-preparation tools for individuals preparing for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification exam, including practice questions, skills review content, flashcards, and timed practice exams.

Synara is a study and review resource. It is not a state-approved CNA training program and does not fulfill state-mandated clinical hour requirements. Every U.S. state requires completion of an approved training program before a candidate is eligible to test. Please refer to your state's nurse aide registry for your specific certification requirements.

We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in passing your certification exam.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Purchases and Access

Products purchased through Synara.store grant you access to the corresponding content within the Synara application, tied to the email address used at purchase. Access is granted for your personal, individual use only.

No sharing or redistribution. You may not share your account access, resell, redistribute, or publicly post Synara's content, including questions, rationales, skills content, or any other materials.

4. Refunds

Purchases are covered by our 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee, described in our Refund Policy. Refunds end access to the refunded product. Beyond the guarantee, sales are final except where required by law. If a technical issue prevents you from accessing a product, contact us (see Section 9) and we will work to resolve it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access content or accounts you have not purchased or been granted access to
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract content from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the Service, including questions, rationales, guides, and study materials, is owned by Lazarus LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a limited, personal license to use the content — it does not transfer any ownership rights.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is fully accurate or complete. While we make reasonable efforts to keep exam-related information current, requirements and exam formats vary by state and testing vendor and may change.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lazarus LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including but not limited to exam outcomes.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

Is Synara a replacement for CNA training?

No. Every U.S. state requires completion of a state-approved CNA training program, including a minimum number of supervised clinical hours, before a candidate is eligible to sit for the certification exam. Synara does not provide this training and cannot fulfill these requirements.

Synara is built to support students who are already enrolled in, or have completed, an approved training program — helping them review core content, practice for the written exam, and prepare for what to expect on exam day. Our practice questions, skills step-by-step guides, and practice exams are study and review tools, not a substitute for hands-on clinical instruction.

We do not guarantee that using Synara will result in passing your certification exam. Exam content, format, and passing requirements vary by state and testing vendor. Always refer to your state's official nurse aide registry and your training program for the most accurate, up-to-date requirements.
